The Definition of Logo

Logo – a logo is an identifying mark. It is a symbol that represents your brand and can be thought of as the face of your brand. It should be simple and memorable as its purpose is to identify.

A logo is NOT your brand! A logo is a symbol that represents your brand and its purpose is to identify your brand in the market. Just as your face identifies you so too does your brand’s logo.

While there are many types and styles of logo design from Wordmarks to Emblems, Iconographs, Mascots, Monograms, etc., the best logos tend to be simple. Simple logos tend to be the most memorable so long as your public relations and marketing activities are very active and your branding is kept consistent.

Investing in a well thought out and executed logo can go a long way to helping your brand stay memorable in a noisy world.

In today’s digital age we live surrounded by a lot of noise that pretends to be communication. To get noticed and be heard you have to have a clearly defined brand and good quality consistent branding that includes an outstanding logo design.
